About
The trip should fit you, not the other way around.
Our mission is to create deeply personal travel experiences shaped around your interests, priorities, and the way you want to experience a destination. Good travel design begins with understanding the person taking the trip before deciding what belongs in the itinerary.
From there, destination knowledge, trusted relationships, and carefully considered details come together to create a journey that feels distinctly your own.

WORK WITH ME
Italy remains at the heart of my work, but another part of my professional background has shaped Explore Dolce Vita in a very different way. For more than fifteen years, I have worked in the marine industry. That experience gave me firsthand familiarity with boats, owners, marinas, shipyards, and the realities surrounding the marine world.
Eventually, those two parts of my professional life came together through Yacht Acquisition Travel Concierge, created for clients traveling throughout Europe for yacht viewings, inspections, sea trials, shipyard visits, and acquisition-related appointments. I am not involved in the yacht transaction itself. My role is to manage the travel surrounding it.
I also assist with select European journeys and European river cruising when they are the right fit, but Italy and yacht acquisition travel remain the two areas that most clearly define my work today.
Explore Dolce Vita is ultimately a reflection of everything I value about travel: knowing a destination well, understanding the person taking the trip, and making choices for a reason rather than simply adding more.
My journey began long before Explore Dolce Vita. I was born and raised in Bucharest and spent the first eighteen years of my life in Europe, surrounded by different languages, cultures, and ways of experiencing the world. Travel and curiosity about other places were part of my life long before they became part of my profession.
Italy eventually became the country I found myself returning to again and again. Over time, that personal connection grew into something much deeper. I studied Italian language and culture, became an Italy Specialist, and continued learning through years of travel throughout the country, hotel visits, supplier relationships, industry events, and time spent exploring beyond the destinations most travelers already know.
The more time I spent in Italy, the more interested I became in the differences that are easy to miss from the outside. Why one town makes a better base than another. How completely the atmosphere of a destination can change with the season. Why the most famous hotel is not necessarily the right hotel for every traveler. And how much the geography of Italy matters when building an itinerary that actually works.
That curiosity became an important part of how I approach travel professionally. I want to understand a destination beyond the obvious and to know enough about it to make informed recommendations rather than simply repeat what appears on every “best of” list.
